Dingbat Theatre Project will be holding auditions on Saturday, June 28 12:00-4:000 for the following productions:
I’M GONNA MARRY YOU TOBEY MAGUIRE
Performance dates: September 5-21
First Rehearsal: July 28
HEATHERS THE MUSICAL
Performance dates: October 17-November 2
First Rehearsal: August 18
WINNIE-THE POOH
Performance Dates: December 5-20
First Rehearsal: October 20
Please prepare a 32 bar cut of a song that showcases your abilities as a performer (pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre preferred). You must sing a song to be considered for Heathers. Also, youth performers should sing a song. Please bring sheet music, as an accompanist will be provided.
AND/OR
a one-minute contemporary comedic monologue.
Roles are available for performers of any race, ethnicity, size, gender identity, age, etc. You must be 18 years or older by the date of the first rehearsal to be considered for I’m Gonna Marry You, Tobey Maguire and Heathers the Musical.
All adult performers will be paid a gas stipend.
Auditions are held at Dingbat Theatre Project (7288 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231).
Rehearsals are generally held in the evenings Monday-Thursday and longer days on Sunday. Performances are generally Thursday-Saturday evenings with Sunday afternoon performances. Winnie the Pooh will have additional performances on Sunday weekday evenings.
