Indian head massage one day workshop. 10.30 - 4pm..
Indian head massage is safe & effective & helps to relieve stress, as well as being extremely pleasurable. It can also be beneficial in helping relieve headaches, shoulder & neck stiffness, tension, aches & pains. It improves blood circulation, lymphatic flow & helps with increased joint mobility, to name just a few of the benefits.
On this one day workshop you receive all you need to take you to practitioner level which means that once you have insurance you are certified to treat members of the public. Some of the things we will cover on the day include: the contra-indications of Indian head massage, oils you can use & discuss the benefits and setting up your own practice. The majority of the day will be practical showing you step by step movements of treating the neck, shoulders, back, arms, head, face & ears. There will be ample opportunity for you to practice & if time allows receive. Groups will be kept small.
The theory part - You will be sent the course manual to study at home 4 weeks beforehand & on the morning of the workshop you have a question & answer paper to complete. If this proves difficult you can still carry on with the practical days workshop and do the theory paper again at a later date. You can retake the paper as many times as you need to at no extra cost. Case studies to be submitted before certificate is issued.
The price of £150 includes your certificate & a manual so you can go away confident with all the information at your fingertips.
A non-refundable £50 deposit is required to hold your place on this course.
Refreshments will be available, but you may wish to fetch bottled water & food to share for lunch.
For these events to take place there needs to be a minimum amount of people. If the minimum amount of people is not reached then the organisers reserve the right to cancel the event. All monies paid will be refunded.
