Flotilla & Blessing of the Fleet

Join us for a cherished maritime tradition as we celebrate Burin’s seafaring roots! Hosted by the Harbour Authority Burin, this special event honours our fishermen and women, past and present, with a blessing for safety and prosperity at sea.

Bring the whole family to witness the colourful flotilla and take in the beauty of our working harbour during Come Home Year 2025. There will be refreshments, including hot dogs and even a cake! And the best part - it's all free, provided by the Harbour Authority!
