Introduction to Carpentry & Public Space Design Workshop (11-16)

This immersive, hands-on workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of carpentry and public space design.

The workshop begins with the collaborative construction of a creative, timber-framed fort—an opportunity to learn basic carpentry skills through collective making.

Building on this experience, students will then design and construct an imaginative public installation beneath the Audain Art Museum. Together, we will envision and activate the space, transforming it into a creative environment.

The workshop will end with a public exhibition showcasing the projects created over two days.
Participants will share in the joy and transformation that comes from building a dream world—together.

Ages 11 - 16.
2- day workshop, 10:00am - 3:00pm daily.

$99 per person.
Members get 10% off.

Children & Youth Programming at the Audain Art Museum is generously supported by Youth Engagement Champions April 1 Foundation.
