This talk is part of Bringing Hope and Light to the Dementia Journey, a conference dedicated to supporting individuals with MCI or any form of dementia, along with the unpaid caregivers who support them. Learn practical strategies to help improve quality of life.

Presenter Cynthia Carlsson is trained as a physician in geriatric medicine and is currently a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She serves as Director of the UW-Madison Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute and leads the Clinical Core of the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. She continues to see patients in the Madison Veterans Affairs Memory Assessment Clinic and conducts clinical research on early identification and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Carlsson has been a part of a variety of national efforts to improve dementia research, care, and services in diverse populations.
