Sand Cast Leaf Class

Class size is limited to 10 people.
John Bodensteiner will lead this class in making sand cast leaves.
This is a 2 session class meeting on July 12th and July 19th. Students must attend both sessions.
During the 1st session (July 12) students will learn how to set up sand for casting base, how to position leaf, how to mix cement, how to apply cement to leaf and how to dry cement.
2nd session (July 19) will show how to clean the dry leaf casting, prepare to paint, how to paint, and then seal with polyurethane, and clean up.
THINGS YOU NEED TO BRING:
-Bring your own leaves, not more than 12" long (John will have some leaves to use)
-5 quart pail to mix cement
-kitchen rubber gloves
-mixing tool
All other supplies will be provided
