Are you raising a grandparent raising grandchildren?
The Older Relatives Raising Children support group meets on the last Thursday of each month at SARCOA. These meetings allow older relatives and grandparents raising children to meet with a group of their peers and learn about community resources and financial assistance available. The meetings are held at SARCOA, 1075 S. Brannon Stand Road, in Dothan. For more information call (334) 793-6843. Tierney Donnell, the Urban Regional Extension Agent for Human Nutrition, Diet, and Health with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, will join us as a guest speaker. She will discuss healthy eating practices for families.
