MOVEMENT + SOUND: Remembrance, Reflection, and Renewal
(A sacred gathering for all forms of loss)

Grief arrives in many forms โ€” the passing of a loved one, the ending of a relationship, the quiet ache of who we once were. Whatever your story, your sorrow is welcome here.

In this tender and heart-centered class, we will gather in stillness and movement to honor and release.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Flow softly through a nourishing Yin Yoga practice to invite ease and presence

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Drop inward with guided meditation to meet your grief with compassion

๐ŸŒŠ Receive the soothing embrace of a 30-minute sound bath to restore your nervous system and spirit

WHAT TO BRING:
A journal and pen, comfy items, offering for the alter, and water. We provide the yoga mats, blankets, and eye masks.

A Remembrance and Releasing Altar will be lovingly prepared โ€” a space where you may honor those you hold dear and release what weighs heavy on your soul.

Together, in a circle of support and understanding, we will move through Remembrance, Reflection, and Renewal โ€” creating room for healing and hope.

This is your invitation to release, to remember, and to begin again.

:::ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:::
Kamilah Rose is a wellness educator, yoga teacher, mindfulness coach, and inner work facilitator with a background in sociology, women and gender studies, and public health. After over a decade of supporting communities through education, healing practices, and spiritual care, Kamilah now weaves together movement, meditation, and sound to create spaces for deep inner connection and restoration.

In May 2024, Kamilah's mother passed awayโ€”a profound loss that reshaped her relationship to grief and healing. In the months that followed, she searched for spaces where grief could be witnessed, held, and honored without being rushed or silenced. When she couldnโ€™t find what she needed, she chose to create it.

This monthly grief circle is the container she longed forโ€”a space where the body can speak, emotions can flow, and those navigating loss can be supported in community. Through somatic yoga, sound baths, and guided meditation, Kamilah offers a soft landing for those carrying the weight of grief, knowing firsthand how vital it is to be seen and held.
