Unconventional Spaces: DIY Punk Concert Series

The DIY Punk Scene started in the early 1980s in the LA area of California, but many other punk bands started on the journey of the DIY scene especially those that defined themselves as "Hardcore". This meant that ordinary spaces became concert venues such as Laundromats, restaurants, warehouses, abandoned buildings, alleyways. Wherever they could make music, they did and the community followed.

We are bringing our own version of DIY to modern day Central Florida with select areas and parks. We are working to bring our community closer together in a time when we feel constantly divided and driven apart. We want to also take away the elitist status that concerts have somehow started to have by bringing the music down to the community at their level and price point. All of the shows in this series are All Ages and Free.
