Travel through the solar system to see the planets and stars—without leaving Freeport Community Library! Northern Stars Planetarium brings its inflatable Super Dome to the Meeting Room on August 12 from 4-5 p.m. Sign-ups are required for every family member--since the dome is limited to 50 people--on the FCL website: https://freeportmaine.libcal.com/event/14725943
The Star Stories presentation is best suited for 1st-5th graders but all kids who can sit and listen for an hour are welcome. John will talk about stories, myths, and legends about the sky and constellations including How the Stars Came to Be, Orion and the Bull, and others.
