Public Visioning Neighborhood Workshop: Ferguson Building

Help Iowa City build a shared vision for the future of the community by attending a Public Visioning Neighborhood Workshop. Each Neighborhood Workshop will help the City understand the views and preferences of residents regarding the future growth and development of Iowa City. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input on a wide range of topics, including development and growth, housing, parks, and community character.

All community members are encouraged to attend a Public Visioning Neighborhood Workshop to be held across the community in June and July 2025.

Iowa City kicked off its comprehensive planning effort in January 2025. A Comprehensive Plan is a future-focused guide that shapes the growth and development of a community, helping the City make informed decisions and strategic investments.
