Skill Level: Beginner
Have you ever wanted to learn how to throw clay? In this two-hour class, students will learn the skills necessary to throw bowls, cups, and cylinders. Each student will have the chance to make several pieces and choose from 2 house glazes to fire their work in. The first piece is included in the tuition, any additional piece that you wish to be fired will be $5 payable to the instructor at the end of the class.
Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please note: This workshop will be at the Kevin Lehman Studio located at 580 S. Prince Street in Lancaster, PA. All student work will be fired on-site and available for pick up at the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen on 335 N. Queen Street in Lancaster on average 4-6 weeks from the class.
Throwing clay is messy so please dress for the mess!
