Hello beautifuls, Omfi last concert before summer!!! We are glad to invite for the #57 OMFI night:

JAN PILLAERT /

As a tuba-player Jan Pillaert is always pushing the limits of his instrument. He looks for new approaches in creating sound and interaction through the tuba. This research is enriched by collaborating with a wide range of performers, musicians, dancers, live visuals, installations.
In these encounters, the focus is on the instant improvisation and live-creation of interactions.

MATTIA MASSOLINI /
was born in 1981 in Pavia (IT),he lives in Florence between 2001 and 2006 collaborating with different bands playing swing and gypsy jazz, in 2008 he moved to Brussels where he began to study double bass classical at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, meanwhile collaborates with "Too Much and the white nots" and others Belgian songwriters, with "Stingo" group of Folk Fusion and collaborates with various orchestras in Belgium and
in France (ONB, BPhO).His interest in improvisation manifests itself in dance-contact jams in Brussels, then he meets artists who will change his vision and his approach to improvisation: Michel Massot, Ernst Glerum, Jon Rose, Seijiro Murayama, Jean-Luc Guillonet. He collaborated with some differents free impro collectives as collectif P.I.L.S, Lamaphi, BIC, Bubble Dance. Now collaborating with collective SKEW, ESPACE research on improvisation, Butterfly three, he performed with Paul Lytton and Jean Jacques Duerinckx.

EDOARDO PARENTE /

Edoardo Parente (*98) is an Italian percussionist and performer currently living in Brussels.
His works, all coming from extra-musical sources of inspiration, are based on combining purely musical practice and the performative aspects of musical theatre in micro-systems with their own musical rules and gestures.
