Chalk Walk 2025 - Call for Artists

Calling all artists!
On Saturday, July 26, local artists and all members of the community are invited to design original chalk art creations on the meandering sidewalks of the Cityβs beautiful Gateway Gardens.
Categories include youth (0-12 years), teens (13-17 years), adults (18 years and up), and teams (no more than 4 members per team). Categories will be judged by local art professionals, plus there will be a crowd favorite to be voted on during the event.
Entry to reserve your 5' x 10' drawing space is $10. Artists are required to provide their own supplies and materials. Installations may not contain logos, commercial speech or advertising, explicit sexual imagery, nudity, or graphic depictions of violence. Drawings must be completed by the time the Garden closes on Saturday.

On Sunday, the public can take a socially-distanced stroll through the garden and enjoy the art and outdoors. A panel of judges will pick the best works by teams, youth, and adults. Visitors can also help us pick a Crowd Favorite.
