Sixpence shot to fame in 1999 with their hit single “Kiss Me,” which has now surpassed 1 billion Spotify streams—over a third of those in 2024 alone. The song earned RIAA Triple Platinum status in 2024 and continues to reach new fans worldwide.
They followed up with other hits like “There She Goes” and “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” and after a brief breakup in 2004, the band members continued making music individually. In 2024, they reunited to release Rosemary Hill, their first EP in over a decade, and launched a 50-city anniversary tour, selling out multiple venues.
