Lobo Exploration Academy 2025: Creative Writing Camp

This year UNM-Valencia (UNM-V) embarked on a goal to offer regular summer camp offering for local area middle and high school students. In an effort to create a college going mindset, we value bringing students to campus for different learning opportunities. This year's camp offerings include two drone camps, a creating writing camp, a junior public safety camp, a film and media camp, and a ceramics and fibers camp. The two drone camps and the ceramics and fibers camp are sponsored by UNM-V's awarded 2025 Meta Data Center Community Action Grant.
Each one-week session has a minimal cost of $25.00, pre-registration is required. Camps are open to kids from 12-18, spread the word!
Creative Writing Camp:

- Get ready to turn your imagination loose and build a world all your own. At Creative Writing Camp, you are the author, explorer, and architect of stories only you can tell. Each day, you'll set out on adventures across campus—writing under shady trees, hunting for story sparks in scavenger hunts, and discovering the secrets of great storytelling through hands-on, creative activities.
