Adaptive Kayaking

This program is available for people with disabilities, people experiencing mobility concerns, and seniors. The program is designed to be inclusive and help people safely experience kayaking here in beautiful Vermont, utilizing strategies and adaptations to assist with all abilities. Six distinct adaptive kayaks are offered, allowing six individuals to be simultaneously on the water, each accompanied by a helper.

There is no state park fee for the participant and one helper.

An experienced kayaker, such as a parent, caregiver, or friend, must accompany every participant. Adults must accompany any children.
