Johannesburg, South Africa – The International Taekwon-Do Federation of South Africa (ITFSA) is proud to announce the 2025 South African National Open Championships, an electrifying two-day martial arts spectacle to be held on 19th and 20th July 2025 at Weltmeyer Stables in Alberton, Johannesburg.
This highly anticipated event will draw over 200 top athletes from across the country to compete in a celebration of skill, discipline, and unity. With an expected audience of more than 400 spectators, the championships promise high-impact action, breathtaking performances, and a dynamic opening show supported by a professional sound system.
“The ITFSA National Open is more than a tournament—it’s a gathering of passion, perseverance, and Taekwon-Do values,” said Master Jaren Phillips, ITFSA President and Event Director. “We’re thrilled to bring this level of excellence to Alberton and invite families, students, schools, and the general public to join us for a weekend of unforgettable martial arts energy.”
