June 28, Authors to Present Book Talks at FWH’s Sutler Shoppe

On Sat., June 28 at 2 pm, historian Dr. Russell P. Bellico and maritime archaeologist Joseph W. Zarzynski will each present a 15-min. talk at Fort William Henry’s Sutler Shoppe. The authors will also sign their books from 1:30–2:00 pm and 2:30–3:00 pm.

Bellico’s talk is “Highlights of the French & Indian War at Lake George.” Zarzynski will speak about “Five Important Maritime Artifacts from Fort William Henry Museum’s Collection.”
Copies of some of their books will be for sale in the Sutler Shoppe (48 Canada St., Lake George). Moreover, people who own any of the authors’ books are welcome to bring them to be signed.

Bellico is the author of Sails and Steam in the Mountains–A Maritime and Military History of Lake George and Lake Champlain, Chronicles of Lake George, Chronicles of Lake Champlain, and Empires in the Mountains–French and Indian War Campaigns and Forts in the Lake Champlain, Lake George, and Hudson River Corridor.

Zarzynski is author of Ghost Fleet Awakened–Lake George’s Sunken Bateaux of 1758 and Fort William Henry’s Moments in Time. He also is co-author with Bob Benway of Lake George Shipwrecks and Sunken History and co-author with Peter Pepe of Documentary Filmmaking for Archaeologists.
