**Pre-registration is required for this event**

Calling all Junior Rangers! Join park rangers at Seven Islands State Birding Park for a hands-on adventure in water safety and stream science. Participants will learn the basics of staying safe around water, then head to the river to collect and study water samples. We’ll investigate water quality, search for aquatic critters, and discover how clean water helps people, wildlife, and ecosystems thrive. This fun and educational program combines safety skills with environmental stewardship in a memorable outdoor setting.

This program is recommended for children ages 6–14 with an accompanying adult. Please meet at the Bluebird Barn at 9:30 AM. Be prepared to walk up to 2 miles over paved and unpaved surfaces. For more details about the route we will take, read the Essential Eligibility Criteria.

The cost of this program is $5 per participant.

Please come prepared with sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals. Participants may also want to bring a towel and change of shoes or clothes.
