We are so pumped about the return of “Oakey’s Dog Days of Summer” event. A fun-filled day for your four-legged friend to “cool off” this extremely hot summer!
We welcome back for our 6th year “Oakey’s (Pet Funeral Home & Crematory) Dog Days of Summer” event which will take place on Saturday, August 23rd from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. This will be a free community event open to the public, especially all those with dogs, or those who are thinking about adopting a dog.
As in years past, we will host a dog adopt-a-thon in conjunction with local adoption agencies. In addition to the adopt-a-thon, we will openly provide to the general public the coolest activities for pooches. We turn our full regulation sized ice rink into a cool dog park and open the outdoor swimming pool for dogs and their owners only. Over 20 dog related vendors will be on-site providing free services, offering door prizes and more! What better way to let your best friend beat the extreme heat during these dog days of summer by chilling out at coolest place around!
