Jigsaw Puzzle Race Day

This is a fun puzzle race event. There are two divisions to compete in, Individual and Pairs. Both divisions will be given 2 hours to complete a 500-piece puzzle.
Competitors must be at least 14 years old to participate in either division.
Participants must preregister. Preregister through our google form available on the event page or in person at the museum.
Cost for this event is $20 for individual and $30 for pairs. This includes the puzzle. There is no fee to anyone who is not participating in the puzzle race who wishes to visit the swap table or watch the competition. Guests are reminded to be courteous to competitors and their tables.
Doors open at 12:45 with the competition starting at 1:15.
No one will be allowed to view the puzzle before the start of the event. Puzzles will be distributed at the same time.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. In the event that no one completes the puzzle in the time allotted the winner will be the one who has correctly placed the largest number of pieces. Only groups of 3 or more correctly joined will be counted.
Each individual or pair can use up to 2 trays with a maximum size of 12”x16” as an aid during the assembly of the puzzles. Box top holders are allowed. No other tools or aids are allowed.
There will be a puzzle swap table at this event. Puzzles must be complete with no missing pieces. It is a 1:1 trade of similar size ex: 500 pieces for 500 pieces. You must bring your own bag for the swap table. There will be an attendant at the table.
