Sashiko is the classic Japanese needlecraft that makes even white stitches on dark blue fabric. The word Sashiko means β€œlittle stabs,” and its origins start in medieval Japan. In this two-hour class, you will learn about the history, the differences between styles, and master the hitomezashi technique to create your own tea coasters while enjoying tea during the class.
