Sashiko is the classic Japanese needlecraft that makes even white stitches on dark blue fabric. The word Sashiko means “little stabs,” and its origins start in medieval Japan. In this two-hour class, you will learn about the history, the differences between styles, and master the hitomezashi technique to create your own tea coasters while enjoying tea during the class.
