Leafy Greens of the Forest

This Ranger led hike will take visitors on an adventure to identify a variety of species of trees typical of the Ridge and Valley Province of Georgia. The Ranger will also be discussing the importance of trees and the contributions different species makes to the unique ecosystem of New Echota-Cherokee Capital SHS. Participants will be learning how the Cherokee used the different species of trees in their everyday lives.
