The Des Moines County Farm Bureau is excited to host our inaugural Summer Ag Tour throughout Des Moines County. This FREE, hands-on program is perfect for kids of all ages and their families.

Michael and Kendra began planting pumpkins in 2017, but Aunner Farms truly came to life when their two sons joined the effort. Today, the whole family works together to plant, grow, and harvest a wide variety of pumpkins, which they sell each fall on honor-system hayracks. Last year, they expanded their offerings to include giant mums and a growing selection of specialty pumpkins-brining even more fall charm to the farm.
One of the most meaningful parts of the season is their annual donation to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, made from a portion of their fall earnings during a dedicated timeframe.
