Noah's Bio:
My name is Noah “Red” Hawes and I’m a local performer in the Frederick area. I play acoustic arrangements of covers as well as my own originals. The covers range from singer/songwriters from the 60s and 70s like Simon and Garfunkel and James Taylor, current pop hits from One Direction and The Chainsmokers, and everything in between.
I have a bachelor’s degree in classical guitar and have played lead guitar and sang vocals in classic rock, indie, pop punk, and metal bands. I utilize the classical guitar training to create my acoustic arrangements of covers, combining the elements of bass, guitar, and driving percussive energy all on a single guitar.
I have a YouTube channel (Red Hawes) with original and cover videos. I have an additional channel (Drew Hawes - Noah's Gigs with Friends) that has videos from performances with the bands I have been in, past and present, as well as solo performances.
