CCC Day Run-Paddle Duathlon

The Friends of Promised Land State Park are pleased to hold the inaugural CCC Day Run-Paddle Duathlon on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Promised Land State Park (PLSP). This fundraiser is for the benefit of our 501(c)(3) non-profit, and all proceeds support recreation, education, and conservation at Promised Land State Park.
Athletes will run a 5k (3.1 miles) and then paddle for 1-mile in their kayak, SUP, or canoe. Runners will go out and back on scenic North Shore Road, through the Pines Campground, and transition at the "Day Use Area" where they will then paddle out and back in their kayak, SUP, or canoe on beautiful Promised Land Lake.
Online registration ends on August 7 at midnight or when we have reached 100 participants. There will be no day-of registration. The fee is $40 before July 19; price increases to $50 on July 19.
If you do not wish to participate, but would like to make a donation of $25, we will give you an event shirt. Donations must be received by July 18 through RunSignUp.
