Continuing the festival’s relationship with the Leeds International Piano Competition we welcome 2024 prize winner Junyan Chen who first appeared at the festival in 2021 as a student. In addition to winning the Second Prize at Leeds she also won the chamber music prize and the Alexandra Dariescu award for a work by a woman composer.
Having studied with Joanna MacGregor she holds a fellowship with the RAM, having recently graduated with a first-class honours MA degree.
