We start the day with a FREE traditional Cars & Coffee gathering in the paddock. Come and show your car while checking out all the other cool cars and meeting like-minded enthusiasts! Coffee and other provisions will be available and affordable. Track time is optional but encouraged for all Cars & Coffee participants and will take place on the nearby 1.7 mile Jefferson Circuit...
We always hear that people can't drive their car on track with us because it's too complicated, time-consuming, and/or expensive. Well now we have made it as easy and affordable as possible: GET ON TRACK is just 50 bucks and can take as little as 90 minutes. There is literally no cheaper or more simple way than this to GET ON TRACK at Summit Point!
The morning and early afternoon will consist of six available introductory segments during which participants will receive out-of-car instruction and one session on track (approx 30 minutes of lapping at a spirited pace.) Drivers are welcome to sign up for more than one session and enjoy as much track time as possible.
The late afternoon will feature one 2-hour block of higher speed trackcross runs on a course that will use as much pavement as possible. These are solo practice runs that may be timed but will not be scored. We will limit the number of entries so you get plenty of runs. We do not slow the track down with cones.
