The Run 4 Orphan Rescue will take place Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Packet Pick Up: Location, dates and time for picking up packets will be determined and communicated via email to registrants closer to the event date. The 5k will begin at 9:00am. Participants may run or walk.
The chip timed 5k course will wind throughout the pathways of Rob Fleming Park, providing a scenic route and fun, enjoyable atmosphere fostering friendly competition. The 5k race is open to runners of all abilities and recommended for participants ages 10 and older.
This 5K event will raise funds to support Mission Moroto's orphanage in Karamoja, a remote and desperate region in northeastern Uganda.
Mission Critical International has established a safe haven in this destitute area. The mission is currently caring for and serving over 355 Karimojong orphans, providing them with food, shelter, and love. Nearly every week, we are blessed to rescue another child from imminent danger.
Your participation in this event will help sustain and expand this vital mission. Thank you for being part of this incredible effort to bring hope and healing to these children.
