Experience the joys of seated birdwatching while drinking freshly brewed bird-friendly coffee. Bring a foldable lawn chair and your favorite mug and let the birds come to us at the confluence of the DuPage and Des Plaines rivers. Park at the McKinley Woods — Kerry Sheridan Grove lot and follow the signs leading to the confluence.
Benches will be available for those without chairs. Hot coffee will be ready at the start of the program.
Fee: Free!
Age: All ages.

This is an inclusive program, welcoming individuals of all abilities. The hike to confluence will be no longer than 0.5 mile roundtrip on a paved trail. The program will take place on natural surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online ( https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
