Circle of Friends--Triangle in a Square & Fusible Applique with Liz Granberg-Jerome

Circle of Friends is a fun quilt to make combining the 54-40 or Fight block and snowball block with an applique heart in the center. Alternate Dresden Heart applique (as shown) will be available in class. When the 54-40 or Fight block is used in a two-block layout with blocks with triangles in the corners such as the snowball block, it creates the illusion of curves without any curves being sewn in the quilt. Learn how to use the TIS Bloc Loc ruler or EZ Quilting Tri-Recs tools to make some spectacular new quilts!

Sunday, August 17 from 10am-3pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center. Class fee: $40. Click on the "Tickets" link to register and pay online at the Quilters' Paradise website.

Quilting and textile art classes are co-sponsored by Quilters' Paradise and the Lumberyard Arts Center as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming.
