Round Mosaic Bowl with Barbara Neale

This bowl can be used as a serving bowl, a display, or a Knick Knack catcher. Fused glass, also known as warm glass, is not glass blowing, it is cutting and overlapping glass that will be melted in a kiln into a solid piece. No prior experience is needed as we will go over some basics of glass prior to the actual hands on.
In this 6-hour workshop, students will create their own design for one 10-inch round bowl. Several glass colors and combos will be available to choose from for your own unique color palette. Once assembled, your creation will be placed in the kiln for firing, and you will be able to pick up your finished product within 7 to 10 days.
Please bring a brown bag lunch and some water, we will break for 30 minutes.
~ About the Artist ~
Barbara has been working with fused glass for the past 16 years. She has attended many workshops with glass artists and is associated with The Glass Underground Studio located in Warren, NJ. Upon retiring a few years ago, Barbara has been showing her wares at local fairs and juried show. Barbara is a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and has exhibited in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and most recently at Makers Alley in Frenchtown.
