Medieval Dye Day

The Barony of Dun Carraig is hosting a Dye Workshop at Marguerite's home. Whether you're a total beginner or have played with dyes before, you are more than welcome to attend this hands-on session where we explore natural dyes.

There will be a few dye pots available featuring commercially available dyes, dyes from the medieval era and a few others with dyes sourced from the yards of our local SCAdians. We will also have matching mordant baths available as well. Bring your own wool, silk, linen, or cotton yarn, embroidery floss, or fabrics to toss in the pot!

Lunch will be a potluck, feel free to bring a dish to pass. Please label your dish with ingredients for our allergy-sensitive guests!
