Forging an Axe

Come watch Forged in Fire champion Jordan LaMothe forge an axe in just 2 hours! This lively demonstration will feature traditional wrapped-eye construction, just as axes were made in the nineteenth century. In the process, you will be able to see a wide variety of forging and hammer techniques, from layout to material manipulation to forge welding. The end result will be a small axe head, or hatchet, suitable for camping and green woodwork.
