A Day With The Grandmothers

In Celebration of our Anishinaabe Traditions we are hosting a Gathering of the Grandmothers, we are honoring the Grandmothers with a day of Love, Laughter and Ceremony.
*Naming Ceremony - Wiindaawaso
*Wedding Ceremony - Wiidigendiwin (Conni & Kate's Traditional Wedding with Pipe & Blanket Ceremony)
*Potluck Feast with the Grandmothers. In keeping with Anishinaabe tradition it’s a potlatch we ask everyone to bring a dish to pass
*and your Feast Bundle/ plate, cup, utensils
*a give away gift, nothing fancy, some thing that has meaning to you, can be homemade or something you would like to pass on
*Drumming - bring your Drums, Rattle, Guitars
*Introduction of the Windsor Nii'kinaaganaa Circle
*Story-Telling at the Sacred Fire
