Our Woodshop classes are starter lo-fi wood project classes to get you comfortable using basic tools and working with wood. You will learn about saws, using a nail gun/ brad nailer, talk on varieties of wood, working with wood glue, sanding and techniques. We will talk a few wood basics with a quick woodshop tour and a basic tool review. You will use various tools to create your planter box perfect for one larger plant in a 10 inch-ish pot. So think the perfect patio butterfly bush, a front door boxwood or anywhere inside or outside. These are made from cedar- so they're outdoor friendly.
This class will include assembly using pocket screws, using a Kreg tool. Pocket screws are an amazing woodworking skill to learn, giving you hidden screws/ joinery for that seamless nice look. This class will spend some time focusing on using the Kreg jig and learning the basics of pocket holes/ screws. It's an awesome skill.
