The Cahokia Archaeological Society, a chapter of the Illinois Association for the Advancement of Archaeology (IAAA), along with the Illinois State Archaeological Survey, American Bottoms Field Station (ISAS) will be at the Monroe County History Museum in Waterloo, Illinois on August 6, 2025 for an artifact ID event,
as part of our “Artifact ID Roadshow” series.
Join professional archeologists for an opportunity to discuss your finds and answer your questions.
ISAS will also discuss the importance of site documentation and preservation.
Please limit your artifacts to local finds only and not purchased items. We will not be appraising or placing values on any items. This is an educational opportunity to understand more about Illinois history and the people who inhabited the area.
