Course Aim:

The EFAW course is designed for low risk environments.

Course Content:

The role of the first aider

Effective Casualty Communication

Contents of First Aid box & how to avoid cross infection.

Recording of incidents and accidents

Assessing the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency.

Administer First Aid to a casualty who are unconscious, require CPR & use of AED, are choking, are wounded or bleeding, are in shock, have minor conditions - which include: minor cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns & scalds, small splinters
