finishing techniques - crochet workshop

You've learnt to crochet but now you find you have lots of squares that you dont know how to join, edges that aren't straight, borders to add, not to mention colour changes and why do other people's amigurami stitches look different to yours.....

This session aims to answer these questions giving you the confidence to finish off those wips.

Some of the techniques to be covered:

• Crochet Edgings - basic guide and tips for creating neat edges

• Borders - crab, picot, shell stitch

• Colour changing

• Crocheting squares together using different techniques including join as you go methods.

• Yarn over Vs yarn under technique.

Important to note unfinished projects should be brought with you. Ideally 6-8 squares of the same size to demonstrate joining together.

I will have some yarn available to use for borders but please message me beforehand to discuss.

Class includes 2hrs tuition, notes/patterns, follow up video tutorials and a little goodie bag ☺️
