On Tuesday 24th June, we are delighted to welcome Lucy Brouwer, better known as Watson Fothergill Walk, to the pub to tell us all about Nottingham's Art Deco pubs. You may not be aware, but we are richly blessed with more than our fair share of these in the Nottingham area - with seven of them still operating. Lucy will take us through the development of these pubs in the interwar years, illuminating the architects & breweries, trends and the notion of the 'improved pub' which opened the pub to more folks.

Lucy Brouwer is an acclaimed architecture historian and tour guide in and around Nottingham. Her talks and tours are highly informative and engaging, with lots of stories to tell of the people involved as well as the buildings.
