Made to Measure & Pattern Design - 5 day Course

This course is for intermediate or experienced garment makers, and is curated for people who want to begin pattern design.

In this course you will create your own customised bodice, skirt and sleeve block.

Day 1
- Take full measurements
- Taper patterns
- Block tracing
- Adjusting blocks (including full bust, armhole and shoulder adjustments)

Day 2
- Making a toile
- Altering toiles to fit
- Transferring pattern alterations to block

Day 3
- Sleeve blocks
- Finalising block patterns

Day 4
- Dart shifting
- Neckline drafting
- Collar drafting

Day 5
- Sleeve drafting
- Skirt drafting
- Finishing touches
