Experience the Healing Power of Music
Join Find Your Voice Music Therapy where we explore the many ways music can inspire, heal, and connect. Through engaging activities like instrument playing, singing, songwriting, and more, you’ll discover how music supports mental well-being and brings people together across different abilities and backgrounds. This inclusive session is open to everyone, whether you’re new to music or have years of experience. We’ll wrap up with an open discussion to answer your questions and share ideas on how music can be adapted to meet individual needs and goals.

Pre-registration is not required. All are welcome! Please bring blankets or a lawn chair for seating.
Presenter Bio:
Alexa Munroe Choquette, BMus, CMT, MTA, MT-BC, RP (Q) (she/her), is a dedicated music therapist with a Bachelor’s in voice performance from Dalhousie University and a Certificate of Music Therapy from Acadia University. Her experience spans working with hospitalized children, at-risk youth, people with developmental disabilities, and seniors. Alexa fosters a safe, welcoming environment in her sessions and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology.
