Willow weaving workshop - Tea Tray with solid base

Take time out for yourself, learn a new skill and enjoy the creative process.
In this workshop you will learn the basic basketry skills to make a tea tray.
In collaboration with local company Relic Plastics who recycle plastic material into beautiful colourful products among them is sheet material - which we'll use for the base of the tray.
We'll introduce side stakes, weave the sides adding a handle and a top border.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and all materials and tools will be provided.

Please note the colour of the base may vary from these pictures.

There will be facilities for making hot drinks throughout the session.


Please note:
The willow varieties I have will vary depending on what is available at the time.
Bookings will close 1 week prior to allow soaking time for the willow. I often soak a little extra so if you are interested after the bookings close please send me a message and I'll see if I can accommodate.
