OB Marquee - Commemoration Day 2025

As an Old Bromsgrovian, you are warmly invited to the OB Marquee on Commemoration Day.
The marquee on Lower Charford will be open from 1.30pm - 5.00pm. Please come and join us for food, drink, and good company.
We also have mobile catering from local suppliers for you to enjoy including: Wood Fired Pizza freshly cooked by Pizza Heaven; Bayleys of Bromsgrove will be selling craft beers and cocktails; the Fizz Truck will be selling champagne drinks; and the ever-popular ice cream van will be serving chilled treats. All these options are reasonably priced and no pre-ordering is required.
You will be able to watch the cricket from the OB marquee, which will be part of the boundary ring of gazebos. And there will be a Gun Run by the CCF.
Don't forget the Heritage Centre (Big School) will also be open from 1.00pm - 4.00pm. Our Archivist, Nikki Thorpe, will be on hand to answer your questions and show you some of the archives we hold - you might even be able to spot a familiar face in the whole school photographs! This year, there will be a display for the 80th aniversary of VE Day and a film showing the schoolboy memories of Christopher Price, one of our pupils at Bromsgrove in Llanwrtyd Wells.
