Fused Glass Suncatcher workshop with Alison Kemp

Suitable for beginners and all levels.
Learn how to cut glass and create a long fused glass suncatcher which look lovely hanging in a window. Choose from a selection of coloured glass, and glass frit. Build up layers of colour to create a unique suncatcher.
On the day choose whether you’d like to make one 22cm x 7cm suncatcher or two 11cm x 7cm ones.
This class will focus on glass cutting, allowing you to design and create a unique art piece.
Following a demonstration in glass cutting, you will have a large selection of coloured glass to choose from, along with glass frit to enhance your design.
Your creation will be kiln fired for you, and ready to collect approxiamately 2 weeks after the workshop.
Please wear closed-toed shoes as cutting glass.
Safety glasses and gloves will be provided and must be worn whilst cutting glass.
An apron will be available for use during the workshop to protect your clothes from glass.
Avoid eating and drinking at work table.
Wash your hands before leaving studio.
Tea, coffee and biscuits available during a break in the middle of the workshop.
