Meet up at North Beach on Tybee for a Beach Read Day! Bring a blanket, a book, and anything else you'd like. You can read a typical "Beach Read" of course, or any other book that you feel like reading.
Kids and families are welcome to join. They can bring books too!
I will bring my tent, but it is only 10x10 so I won't be able to fit everyone under it. Feel free to bring a tent or an umbrella if you have one!
The plan is to meet near the North beach parking lot. My tent is purple, so hopefully it will be easy to spot. Cell service isn't the greatest on the Beach, but I will try to keep an eye on messages and post a more accurate location once I am settled.
There is a pay-to-park system on Tybee, so make sure to pay at a kiosk or using the Park Tybee app. It is $4 per hour. I recommend paying for an extra hour longer than you think you may need, just in case.
Make sure to bring water, and any other snacks you'd like.
