An Update on Investigations of the Kreitzer site (12VG2104)

For this month's ARI Speaker Series, please help us welcome Pat Trader! He will be providing an update on archaeological investigations conducted at the Kreitzer site (12VG2104) in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. In August 2024, he presented preliminary findings to ARI. At that time, it was his understanding that the site was a single component Yankeetown phase (AD 700-1200) occupation. However, following analysis, they also identified a Mississippian Angel phase occupation at the site. This presentation will discuss post-field results of artifact and other special analyses.
