We get a bit more complicated with our projects in Sewing Level 3.
To start the week off, we will sew an adjustable apron with pocket.
Then we tackle zippers with our lined boxy zipper pouch. Who doesn't need a pouch like this to store art supplies or toiletries or really anything.
Our last project, I call a study pillow. It fits a standard pillow and has buttons (with button holes) a handle, a large inset pocket and top stitched small pocket. The large pocket is perfect for a text book, sketchbook, or novel, while the small pocket is great for writing utensils or a phone/Ipod. It's ready to go outside or where ever you want. One friend said they'd use it for pj's and a toothbrush for a sleepover. There is also a possible surprise bonus project if time allows.
