Outdoor Carnivorous Bog Planter Workshop

Carnivorous plants are plants that derive some or most of their nutrients from trapping and consuming animals or protozoans, typically insects and other arthropods. Carnivorous plants have adapted to grow in places where the soil is thin or poor in nutrients, especially nitrogen, such as acidic bogs! Many carnivorous plants are safe at overnight temps in the 30s!

In this hands-on workshop, you will be taught the methods to plant your own savage garden. You can bring your own pot if you wish; just be sure it is not clay!

Register for the class at https://www.downtoearthgardencenter.com/calendar or call 715-833-1234, ext. 6.

Workshops are scheduled at the top of the hour, from 10am-4pm, first come first serve.

$10 class fee covers peat moss & rocks. Project cost depends on finished project.
